About The Position

This is a Part-Time Member Service Representative position at the Main Branch, with working hours Monday - Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. and Saturdays from 8:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Part-time employees are scheduled for 21 - 29 hours per week. The role involves supporting members with financial transactions, including cash-handling and negotiable instruments. The representative will deliver quality service, build professional relationships, provide account information and account/loan maintenance, and resolve or refer issues as needed. Attendance is an essential function of performing the duties.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; sells money orders and VISA gift cards to members; transfers amounts from member accounts as directed.
• Balances cash drawer and daily transactions.
• Identify members’ needs and promote and cross-sell credit union products and services.
• Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services and directs members to appropriate department for specific information and service.
• Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks, including typing, filing, responding to emails, and answering the telephone.

• Performs other job related duties as assigned.
