Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Strong customer service skills are required, including solid verbal communication and business professional writing skills.
  • Strong initiative and the ability to work independently, as you will be processing approximately 150 - 200 tasks per day.
  • Must maintain a positive, customer focused attitude at all times.
  • Strong computer skills are required in order to quickly learn our multiple systems.
  • Must be flexible and adaptive to a frequently changing work environment.
  • Must enjoy working in a team environment and have a positive “can do-will do” attitude to do whatever is needed to get the job done.
  • Work 8am-4:30pm Monday through Friday in-person from our office in Manhattan, KS.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of billing, account payable or receivable experience and an Associate’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience with Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Set up accounts for automatic payment withdrawals.
  • Process daily incoming payments.
  • Refer unpaid balances to a collection agency.
  • Review outgoing refunds for accuracy.
  • Respond to emails from agency force and other departments to answer questions related to policy billing.
  • Review policies for reinstatement.
  • Process returned payments.
  • Flexibility is key, as you will have other duties and projects as assigned.
