Member Service Representative I
About The Position
Connections Credit Union is seeking a full-time Teller/Member Service Representative for our Pocatello (Oak) Branch. The candidate we are looking for has a passion for helping others and a strong attention to detail. Connections Credit Union is a $250 million credit union that serves southern Idaho. Requirements
- Highly proficient in cash handling, especially with multiple denominations and large amounts
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to demonstrate confidentiality in regards to member accounts and sensitive information
- Basic financial knowledge
- High School Graduate or GED
- Must be bondable
- Flexibility with travel and reliable transportation is expected.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact with members and be responsible for processing member transactions, primarily dealing in cash and checks.
- Promote the credit union and its services while providing professional and friendly service to members.
- Occasionally travel to various East Idaho branches to assist with teller operations in the event of absent employees and/or short-staffed branches.
