We’re hiring Member Service Representative I for our Oakland County branches in Rochester, Pontiac, and Troy. Whether a member stops in to make a deposit, open an account, ask about a payment, or get help with digital banking, you’ll provide accurate service and a personal connection.

Requirements

A high school diploma or GED.
One month to one year of similar or related experience, ideally in a credit union, bank, retail, cash-handling, or customer-service setting.
Clear, professional communication skills in person and by phone.
Comfort handling cash and learning multiple computer systems.
Good judgment, dependability, and a team-oriented approach.
A willingness to recommend products and services when they genuinely fit a member’s needs.
Comfortable working toward individual and branch service, accuracy, quality, and performance expectations.

Responsibilities

Assist members in the branch, by phone, and through other assigned service channels.
Process deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and other transactions accurately.
Open, close, and maintain consumer accounts.
Answer account questions and help resolve routine service concerns.
Ask questions to understand members’ needs and recommend appropriate products, services, and digital tools.
Explain account features and help members use online and mobile banking.
Balance your cash drawer and complete end-of-day procedures.
Follow verification, security, confidentiality, and fraud-prevention procedures.
Keep member records and transaction documentation accurate.
Know when a request needs additional review and involve the right teammate.
Help maintain an organized and welcoming branch.
