About The Position

O Bee Credit Union is hiring a Member Service Representative I/II to join their team. This is a full-time role that plays a vital part in supporting the mission, members, and company culture of the credit union. The position involves providing basic financial services to members, including teller functions, loan services, and business development, with a primary responsibility of contributing to the positive image and growth of the credit union through world-class member service.

Requirements

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least one year of customer service experience.
• A passion for working with and helping people.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and a strive for accuracy
• Knowledge of basic computer software products.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include Saturdays.
• Work independently while contributing to a supportive and high-performing team.

• Cash handling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive best level member service by engaging in conversations with our members and developing relationships with them.
• Answer and ask financially driven questions to support the growth of our member’s financial wellbeing.
• Knowledgeable in O Bee products and services.
• Identify the needs of members from general interactions.
• Process pay and receive transactions to include checking and savings, transfers of shares to loan payments, share withdrawals, check requests, CD transactions, line of credit advances, and wires.
• Support members’ requests regarding account balances, transaction history, credits and debits and escalations.
• Resolve concerns and/or put them in direct contact with the appropriate staff member for specific information and assistance.
• Follow BSA and all Credit Union operational procedures. Completes required Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) and notifies Senior Management of any suspicious activities; providing information needed to complete Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
