Requirements

  • High School diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-3 years of job-related experience in a financial sales and service environment
  • Basic understanding of credit products and procedures
  • Knowledgeable in full range of investment products

Nice To Haves

  • Financial planning courses considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Develop full member relationships by analyzing member needs and recommending solutions.
  • Consult with and assist members on investment options using basic financial planning tools to further develop the relationship.
  • Proactively identify members’ financial needs and turn those needs into business opportunities and refer to internal specialists when appropriate.
  • Deliver on Beem's member service experience while promoting and educating members on self-service channel options to make banking easier.
  • Support the mission, vision and values, and work with integrated branch and multi-channel teams proactively supporting each other.
  • Follow the business model and Service Protocols when referring members, preparing for meetings and uncovering opportunities.
  • Make outbound member contacts for investment renewals as well as assigned marketing campaign calls.
  • Open accounts, process investments & lending transactions.
  • Conduct loan interviews and collect and compile relevant information for credit risk adjudication.
  • Process member transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, transfers, bill payments, wires, drafts, term deposits, etc.
  • Adhere to standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with branch administrative duties such as outgoing cheque deposit, ATM balancing, Night Deposit, etc.
  • Balance treasury blotter and post transactions daily.
