About The Position

We are seeking a Bilingual Member Relationship Specialist (English/Spanish) to join a growing, community-focused credit union expanding across Louisiana, Texas, and Colorado. This is a highly member-facing role focused on delivering exceptional service, building meaningful relationships, and helping members improve their overall financial well-being. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong customer service experience who are passionate about financial services, relationship building, and helping others achieve their financial goals.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
  • 1+ years of customer service experience (banking or financial services preferred).
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
  • High attention to detail with strong data entry accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous credit union or banking experience.
  • Experience supporting lending or loan processing.
  • Sales, outreach, or relationship management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a consistent and exceptional member experience with every interaction.
  • Build strong relationships by conducting needs assessments and recommending tailored financial products and services.
  • Advise members on financial wellness topics including savings, debt management, credit building, lending options, and digital banking tools.
  • Assist members with loan applications, including document review, credit history gathering, and coordination with lending teams.
  • Process daily financial transactions (cash and checks) accurately while adhering to policies, procedures, and fraud prevention standards.
  • Perform proactive outreach to members and prospects to deepen relationships and generate new business opportunities.
  • Partner with internal teams and external resources (including mortgage and lending partners) to support members’ financial goals.
  • Participate in branch business development efforts, including community events and lead follow-up.
  • Support branch operations, including ATM servicing, daily balancing, audits, and reporting activities.
  • Serve as a resource for team members and assist with training as needed.
