About The Position
Artificial Analysis is the leading independent AI benchmarking company, supporting labs, engineers, and enterprises in understanding AI capabilities and making critical decisions about their AI strategies. Our benchmarks are trusted by leading AI labs and major publications. We are a fast-growing startup backed by prominent industry leaders. This role initiates coverage of AI-driven robotics, a new vertical for Artificial Analysis. The opportunity involves defining benchmarking methodologies, producing industry-standard leaderboards and analysis, and building relationships with key robotics labs and AI companies. The goal is to become a world expert in physical AI. This position offers a unique blend of product, research, technical, and client-facing work, suitable for driven technical generalists seeking breadth and ownership in a rapidly evolving field.
Requirements
- Intense interest in AI and robotics, with a genuine desire to become a world expert at their intersection.
- Strong analytical and coding skills.
- Proficiency in Python and data analysis.
- Genuine, demonstrable interest and knowledge of frontier AI and robotics, with informed opinions about the field's direction.
- Backgrounds from Robotics and Embodied AI (Robotics Engineer, Research Scientist, ML Engineer) with hands-on experience in modern robot learning (VLAs, world models, sim-to-real, robot foundation models).
- Backgrounds from AI and Machine Learning (ML Engineer, ML Researcher, AI Engineer) with hands-on experience in modern AI systems.
- Backgrounds from Strategy Consulting (Management Consultant, Associate, Engagement Manager) with a genuine technical interest in robotics and ability to code.
Responsibilities
- Lead the initiation of robotics coverage from zero to launch, defining methodologies, benchmarks, and leaderboards.
- Structure, design, and execute projects to evaluate VLAs, world models, and robotic systems, developing new evaluation methodologies and datasets.
- Drive the development of reports and data visualizations to communicate complex robotics concepts to enterprises.
- Collaborate with leading robotics companies and AI labs to support their technology benchmarking.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the AI benchmarking platform and work with developers to implement them.
- Embrace an AI-native workflow, utilizing cutting-edge AI tools for leverage and competitive edge.
- Contribute to company strategy and drive large initiatives to support Artificial Analysis's position as the leading AI benchmarking company.
