Requirements
- 4+ years writing high-quality, production code.
- Experience building and operating high-performance, large-scale distributed systems (battle scars welcome).
- Strong cloud infrastructure skills (AWS, GCP).
- Strong knowledge of OS foundations - Linux kernel, file systems, containers, etc.
- Track record in performance optimization (we love a good "shaved 5ms" story).
- Able to work in-person from our Toronto office.
Nice To Haves
- Rust experience is a plus, not a requirement.
Responsibilities
- Designing, building, and maintaining the high-performance systems that make up our platform.
- Building VM snapshotting that restores full browser state in under a second.
- Performance engineering our Sessions API by analyzing kernel traces.
- Orchestrating millions of browser sessions across regions with sub-second cold starts.
- Working with VMs, proxies, caches, task queues, and orchestration systems.
- Shipping the observability and CI/CD stack from scratch.
