Requirements

• Over 5 years of backend experience scaling consumer products to millions of users with Python and AWS.
• Strong expertise in data structures, relational database schema design, and building high-traffic streaming or multi-threaded APIs.
• Proactive, self-directed mindset with a passion for using AI and LLMs to solve real-world educational equity challenges.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement high-traffic, low-latency backend systems and APIs to power real-time AI learning interactions.
• Build and maintain complex data pipelines and recommendation engines serving hundreds of thousands of active users.
• Collaborate with product and ML engineering teams to optimize RAG-based systems and personalized learning experiences.
