About The Position

Solstice is redefining how life sciences organizations commercialize their therapeutics by building a commercial engine that allows pharmaceutical marketers to launch campaigns at 100x the speed. We are looking for an ML operations engineer with the drive to be part of a founding team tackling a difficult but meaningful problem. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our AI systems, from experimentation to production deployment and ongoing optimization. Beyond development, you will be collaborating closely with co-founders Yiwen and Aris on all facets of the startup as we grow Solstice in the coming years.

Requirements

Relevant experience building systems & deploying enterprise-grade products
Ability to make decisions and drive results independently
Strong proficiency in full-stack web development technologies such as Python, FastAPI, Docker, AWS
Experience working with LLMs such as GPT, Claude and Gemini to create LLM-based workflows, RAG Pipelines and agentic solutions. (Either formally or through projects/experimentation)
Superb communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

Leverage prompt-engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, model experimentation, and benchmarking to optimize performance of Solstice’s platform on real biopharma marketing data.
Wrangle proprietary commercial & marketing brand data into complex LLM pipelines to produce high-quality, compliant life sciences marketing content.
Implement ML Ops best practices, including CI/CD pipelines for ML, model versioning, automated testing, and monitoring.
Develop LLM eval infrastructure to store, analyze and iterate on LLM outputs and the feedback we receive from clients.
Scope, architect, and build SOTA agents and pipelines while supporting customers directly.
Flex across the full stack (frontend, backend, infra) to build whatever is necessary to support our customers.
