About The Position

Join SkyOne Federal Credit Union as a Full-Time Member Experience Specialist II in Hawthorne, CA, to enhance members' financial journeys. As a Member Experience Specialist II, you will be pivotal in establishing and nurturing financial relationships with members. This dynamic position involves processing transactions, updating accounts, opening new accounts, assisting with loan applications, and cross-selling appropriate Credit Union products and services. You will support the Credit Union’s business development initiatives by soliciting new memberships at the branch and through local business engagement, including attending SEG visits and conducting outbound calls. Your efforts will directly contribute to delivering exceptional service. Adhering to policies and procedures while meeting individual and team performance and sales goals, you will embody the SkyOne Service and Sales Model, ensuring members receive a meaningful and tailored experience at every interaction.

Requirements

  • Possess a robust set of skills and knowledge essential for building and maintaining strong financial relationships with members
  • Comprehensive understanding of the features and benefits of all Credit Union products and services
  • Proficiency in utilizing account information to ask relevant questions and offer tailored solutions effectively
  • Strong communication skills for providing efficient and professional service, resolving member inquiries, and collaborating with the team to meet sales and service goals
  • Attention to detail for accurately processing transactions, balancing teller drawers, and ensuring compliance with cash handling procedures
  • Ability to effectively manage time
  • Ability to adhere to policies
  • Ability to complete required training
  • Windows, Word, Excel and Internet proficiency
  • Proficient in 10-key and typing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to any situation

  • Working knowledge of all products and services

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a financial institution
