About The Position

Rockland Federal Credit Union is seeking a Member Experience Specialist I. This frontline role delivers accurate, efficient, and welcoming service to members by handling routine transactions, supporting basic account needs, and maintaining a balanced cash drawer. The Specialist I promotes products through needs-based conversations and refers more complex requests as needed, while following all security, compliance, and fraud-prevention procedures.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in banking, financial services, retail, or cash handling
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Notary Public and credit union experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Process routine transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments
  • Provide account support and respond to basic member inquiries
  • Perform account maintenance such as address updates, debit card assistance, and stop payments
  • Promote products and services through needs-based conversations and refer complex needs as appropriate
  • Balance cash drawer daily and maintain accurate transaction records
  • Follow all security, compliance, and fraud-prevention procedures
  • Support branch operations and deliver a professional, member-first experience
