About The Position

This position exists to serve our members at the Alabama Credit Union's Foley Branch. As a frontline role, a Member Experience Representative will onboard new members by opening accounts and providing a relationship-building experience. They will also assist members with loan requests and financial transactions, including handling cash and negotiable instruments, while identifying opportunities for members to utilize additional Alabama Credit Union products and services. Duties involve accurately and efficiently opening accounts, assisting with basic financial transactions (deposits, withdrawals, credit card payments, balance transfers, debit card and check orders), and providing information about products and services to meet members' financial needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys providing great service, honing sales skills, and helping people in their workplace and community.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Cash handling experience.
  • Good computer skills (including Microsoft Office products and web-based applications).
  • Ability to follow lengthy procedures for account opening.
  • Ability to describe and sell products and services to members.
  • Ability to change focus efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A desire to help others in your community.
  • Ability to talk to strangers about products or services.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • One to three years of similar or related experience.
  • Bilingual (Spanish).

Responsibilities
