About The Position

Educational Systems FCU is seeking an energetic, self-motivated professional with a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills to join their team as a Member Experience Coordinator. This role provides a variety of sales and service functions, including providing information on all Credit Union services and effectively cross-selling products and services to meet member needs. The incumbent will drive efficiency in member service by appropriately directing branch traffic and support the Branch Manager in maintaining a member-focused sales and service culture. This dynamic role combines teller and member services responsibilities, focusing on providing exceptional member service, understanding financial needs, and offering suitable solutions. The Member Experience Coordinator is the face of the Credit Union, fostering strong relationships and ensuring positive and efficient member experiences. Flexibility to work extended hours, at other branch locations, and support the Contact Center with call volume is required. Work hours may include weekends and evenings.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Two (2) years customer service experience required.
  • Ability to multitask and identify member needs.
  • Must be able to meet and/or exceed sales goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with highly confidential information.
  • Ability to perform routine mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to function in a financial institution branch environment.
  • Utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: PC, 10 key calculator, fax, copier, telephone, etc.
  • Possess the ability to lift 25 pounds.
  • Possess the ability to sit and use a computer for prolonged periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree preferred.
  • One (1) year previous financial services experience preferred.
