About The Position

The Member Experience Ambassador (MEA) is the core of our clubs, responsible for building meaningful connections and providing exceptional service to members, guests, and the team. With a strong focus on both people and fitness, MEAs motivate and support individuals on their wellness journeys. They maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism to ensure a positive and engaging club environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Passion for fitness and helping others
  • Basic fitness and sales experience
  • Excellent communication and listening skills (in-person and phone)
  • Demonstrated customer service experience; friendly, outgoing, and approachable disposition
  • Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints with positive behavior
  • Basic computer skills
  • Willingness to attend and participate in required meetings and trainings
  • Willing and able to work a flexible shift: evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
  • First Aid Training (required only at clubs with pool slides)

Responsibilities

  • Engage with members and prospective members to understand their fitness goals and recommend suitable membership options.
  • Support new members through the FitStart program, guiding them on club and equipment usage.
  • Assist members with downloading and using the mobile app.
  • Conduct club tours, highlighting amenities, programs, and promotions relevant to member needs.
  • Stock, sell, and recommend retail items that align with member fitness goals.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to member inquiries via phone and in person, and processing membership changes.
  • Foster a welcoming and motivating community atmosphere, exceeding member expectations.
  • Adhere to the Clean Approach guidelines.
  • Resolve member concerns and problems in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Maintain a safe environment by implementing safety policies and procedures.
  • Assist in building the member community through consistent positive experiences.
  • Provide support in other club areas as needed.
  • Monitor pool and slide areas, enforcing rules when applicable.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
