About The Position

The key purpose of this position is to provide an exceptional in-branch member experience by handling all basic member needs including teller transactions, account maintenance, educating members, making recommendations, and card issues.

Responsibilities

  • Performing a variety of cash and non-cash transactions, including cashing checks, receiving deposits, processing funds transfers, processing loan payments, verifying authenticity of negotiable instruments, selling cashier’s checks, teller’s checks, and money orders.
  • Assisting members with their account maintenance needs, such as resolving account discrepancies, performing file maintenance and account changes, educating members on electronic services, and researching/resolving account issues.
  • Performing various card (ATM and Debit) related functions, including creating, blocking, and activating cards, maintaining logs, researching fraud and transaction history, completing loss and stolen reports, acting as a liaison between member and Card Services, and balancing the instant issue card machine.
  • Identifying member needs and referring them to appropriate team members for specialized products and services, and encouraging the use of self-service banking solutions.
