Member Connections Specialist
About The Position
HAPO Community Credit Union is seeking an ambitious, self-motivated individual to join their team as a Member Connection Specialist in Richland, WA. This role requires a commitment to HAPO's core values of being 'in the moment' and delivering service that 'Defies Expectations' for members, the community, and the team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent multi-tasking, written, and verbal communication skills, and be comfortable spending approximately 80% of their day on the phone. They should be adept at handling stressful situations and de-escalating adverse member interactions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate
- Banking and/or Call Center experience
Nice To Haves
- Spanish language proficiency (Bilingual Incentive available)
Responsibilities
- Perform member requested transactions accurately and completely.
- Maintains confidentiality of all corporate, personnel and research matters.
- Full understanding of credit union products/services and looks for opportunities to proactively promote them in accordance with the credit union's program standards.
- Answering 'back-to-back' calls with consistent exceptional service.
- Receptive to frequent coaching on call recording.
- Must be able to handle multiple channels of communication at a high level, I.E. Calls, chats, emails, member inbox, Fax.
- Must be comfortable making informed decisions and exceptions to strengthen the member relationship while protecting the credit union.
