About The Position

HAPO Community Credit Union is seeking an ambitious, self-motivated individual to join their team as a Member Connection Specialist in Richland, WA. This role requires a commitment to HAPO's core values of being present and providing exceptional service. The ideal candidate will possess strong multitasking abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be comfortable spending approximately 80% of their day on the phone. The ability to manage stressful situations and deescalate challenging member interactions is crucial. This position involves handling multiple communication channels, including calls, chats, emails, member inbox, and fax, while making informed decisions to enhance member relationships and protect the credit union.

Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate
Banking and/or Call Center experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Perform member requested transactions accurately and completely.
Maintains confidentiality of all corporate, personnel and research matters.
Full understanding of credit union products/services and looks for opportunities to proactively promote them in accordance with the credit union's program standards
Answering 'back-to-back' calls with consistent exceptional service
Receptive to frequent coaching on call recording
Must be able to handle multiple channels of communication at a high level, I.E. Calls, chats, emails, member inbox, Fax
Must be comfortable making informed decisions and exceptions to strengthen the member relationship while protecting the credit union
