About The Position

The Member Business Loan Processor provides member service and supports business lending by responding to member inquiries, assisting with applications, preparing and processing loan documentation, and supporting closing and funding activities. Maintains accurate loan files and records, ensures timely and accurate data entry across applicable systems, and upholds compliance with credit union policies, procedures, and applicable federal and state regulations. Processes loan applications; gathers and reviews required documentation; prepares business loan documentation; coordinates loan closings, funding, and post-closing activities; maintains loan files and records; tracks insurance, collateral, financial documentation, and other loan requirements; and provides administrative and operational support to the Member Business Lending department.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two to five years of similar or related lending experience required
  • Experience in loan processing, documentation, servicing, or business lending support
  • Background checks include a bond check, a credit check, a criminal history check, reference checks
  • Signing an Arbitration Agreement is a condition of employment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting business, commercial, or real estate lending transactions
  • Experience with loan closings, collateral documentation, and review of entity documentation, ownership structure, signer authority, borrowing authority, and related organizational records
  • Credit union or financial institution experience
