About The Position

Kitsap Credit Union is actively hiring for Member Associate I, II and III (Teller/Personal Banker) positions all over the area, including: our Bremerton Harborside branch. These positions are responsible for creating exceptional member experience while processing transactions, as well as offering and demonstrating all-digital, remote and self-service options.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 6 months of Financial Institution experience
• 6 months of cash handling, customer service, and/or retail sales experience

Responsibilities

• Assist members with their financial needs and transactions.
• Identify, develop, and refer business relationships to build market position.
• Educate and introduce current and new members to new products and services and assist in self-service options.
• Foster and maintain constructive member relationships.
• Review and maintain knowledge of products.
• Understand and recommend products and services based on the member’s needs.
• Participate in sales and community events to contribute to branch and credit union goals.
• Use effective sales techniques that result in a positive member experience and meet or exceed sales goals.
• Maintain knowledge and adhere to operational, regulatory, security, and compliance standards.
• Accept and process all financial transactions accurately.
• Maintain responsibility and follows proper balancing procedures.
• Promote and effectively demonstrate digital, remote and self-serve options, with continual education as new products and digital services are introduced.
• Proactively generate new memberships through branch sales activities.
