About The Position

Join TRUE Community Credit Union, one of Michigan's fastest-growing credit unions, as a Member Advisor II. This full-time position is located at 131 S. Main Street, Brooklyn, MI 49230. The role involves problem-solving, sales, and providing exceptional customer service within a dynamic team that prioritizes members. The pay starts at $18/hour, with potential for more based on experience. The position requires approximately 40 hours per week, with Monday-Friday shifts ranging from 7:45 am to 5:15 pm, and up to three Saturdays per month from 8:30 am to 1:15 pm. Paid orientation (8 days) will be held at the main branch (1100 Clinton Road, Jackson, MI), with additional hands-on training provided based on skills and experience.

Requirements

A High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of two years of experience in a financial institution.
Demonstrated ability to efficiently navigate multiple systems and software platforms simultaneously, maintaining accuracy, organization, and productivity in a fast-paced setting.

Preference given to candidates who are currently working or have recently worked in a financial services environment.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional member service by accurately processing financial transactions and account requests.
Assist members with opening, maintaining, and closing consumer, specialty, and select commercial accounts.
Support the lending process by assisting with loan applications, closings, and general loan inquiries.
Balance cash and maintain accuracy while following security, safety, and compliance procedures.
Educate and support members in using digital banking tools and services.
Identify opportunities to recommend products and services that enhance members' financial well-being.
Resolve member concerns professionally and build strong, trusted relationships.
Support branch operations, training, and regulatory compliance as needed.
