About The Position

Join TRUE Community Credit Union, one of Michigan's fastest-growing credit unions, as a Member Advisor II. This full-time role is for passionate individuals skilled in problem-solving, sales, and customer service. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to prioritizing members' needs. The position involves processing financial transactions, assisting with account management, supporting the lending process, and educating members on digital banking tools. You will also identify opportunities to recommend products and services that benefit members' financial well-being and resolve concerns to build strong relationships. The role also includes supporting branch operations, training, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a financial institution.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently navigate multiple systems and software platforms simultaneously, maintaining accuracy, organization, and productivity in a fast‑paced setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference given to candidates who are currently working or have recently worked in a financial services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional member service by accurately processing financial transactions and account requests.
  • Assist members with opening, maintaining, and closing consumer, specialty, and select commercial accounts.
  • Support the lending process by assisting with loan applications, closings, and general loan inquiries.
  • Balance cash and maintain accuracy while following security, safety, and compliance procedures.
  • Educate and support members in using digital banking tools and services.
  • Identify opportunities to recommend products and services that enhance members' financial well-being.
  • Resolve member concerns professionally and build strong, trusted relationships.
  • Support branch operations, training, and regulatory compliance as needed.
