About The Position

Elite Day Center is currently looking for an energetic, caring, and reliable individual to care for the Members at our location in AIKEN, SC. This is a medical adult day care provider role. The position is Monday-Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Requirements

• Must be willing to undergo background check, drug test and obtain TB test.
• Current CPR or willing to obtain.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with adults with various disabilities and special needs.
• Experience working with Alzheimer's/Dementia.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on ADL care to Members/Clients of the day center as needed/ordered (Toileting, Feeding, Assistance with ambulation & activities)
• Serve catered lunch and snacks according to instructions.
• Provide opportunities for socialization for the Members.
• Lead and assist with activities based on activity calendar.
• Interact and keep Members engaged throughout the day.
• Maintain a clean environment for the Members of the Center with daily cleaning tasks.
• Documentation of participation in activities and progress toward activity goals.
• Redirect members with behaviors in a calm manner, adhere to members rights and privacy.
