Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering required
  • Graduates only.
  • Minimum 1 year of hands -on experience (internships, consulting projects, or industry roles)
  • Advanced English proficiency — B2 level or above, written and spoken
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, C++, Java, or equivalent
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Matlab, Minitab, or National Instruments software
  • Familiarity with PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal, Allen -Bradley, or similar) preferred
  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in industrial environments
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering specifications
  • Strong problem -solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast -paced environment
  • Willingness to relocate to Beaumont, Texas and work on -site at the plant

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with PLC programming (Siemens TIA Portal, Allen -Bradley, or similar) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Inspect products and create a product performance report to understand product capabilities, losses, etc.
  • Practice data analysis to identify and ensure quality in all suggested processes.
  • Develop and improve maintenance processes that affect production, safety and quality of different types of products.
  • Inspect finished products (wire rods, coiled rebar, billets) and document defects, tolerances, and dimensional accuracy
  • Create detailed product performance reports covering capabilities, losses, and yield rates
  • Collect and analyze process data from the meltshop to identify quality deviations and root causes
  • Monitor and support quality control procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 standards
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop and improve preventive maintenance processes
  • Identify inefficiencies in production workflows and propose process improvements
  • Support safety inspections and ensure compliance with plant safety protocols
  • Assist in programming or maintaining PLC -based control systems on the production floor preferred
  • Generate and present periodic technical reports to supervisors and engineering teams
  • Participate in cross -functional project teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
