Requirements
- Four-year technical degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, with at least 2 years of related work experience; or 5 or more years melt shop experience
- Authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Nice To Haves
- Medium or thick slab casting experience
Responsibilities
- Improving safety and housekeeping in the area
- Participating in all aspects of metallurgical and process analysis and optimization
- Assisting with long-term and short-term improvement projects
- Handling day-to-day operational issues
- Initiating, leading, and upholding safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times
