Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Experience in an industrial setting or a similar career field
Mechanical Maintenance and troubleshooting experience

Nice To Haves

Welding and Fabrication skills
Melt Shop experience

Responsibilities

Safely perform general housekeeping/shop organization
Assist with mechanical maintenance on breakdown repairs
Work with mechanical maintenance during down days and outages
Perform preventative maintenance
Support the Melt Shop with an emphasis on mechanical equipment and issues in a demanding work environment
Provide an opportunity to train, learn and gain experience with the intention of becoming a mechanical technician
Ability to work rotating shifts and scheduled and unscheduled overtime including nights, holidays and weekends
Uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times
