Requirements
- Minimum associates degree in CAD Drafting Technology
- Demonstrated ability to generate new ideas and concepts for problem solving during the design phase
- Good communication skills to share opinion and ideas for the engineers involved in the projects.
- Strong CAD capabilities - SolidWorks is a plus.
- Ability to work in a highly matrixed and diverse organization across research, development, engineering and manufacturing.
Nice To Haves
- Fabrication experience - work or home - preferred to support compelx mechanical designs.
- Good analytical skills, capable of diving into details to uncover insights and deliver impactful solution as an individual contributor.
Responsibilities
- Work will include project and design activities including 3D CAD modeling, running design calculations and generating detailed drawings.
- Applicants should have the ability to work in a team-based environment, collaborating with engineers, and designers and other peers.
- Provide models and drawing packages to suppliers, inside customers and rebuild teams and support the teams during the different phases of design.
