Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

Wear all PPE required
Follow all GIW Safety guidelines
Keeps area neat, clean, and safe
Secure and rope off pouring floor prior to pouring
Able to work any scheduled hours
Able to follow and understand work instructions
Able to read a tape measure
Able to follow and understand SOPs
Able to set up and sand in molds
Able to bolt up closed molds and understand bolting requirements
Able to inspect molds with a borescope camera
Able to set and pull mold weights
Able to understand and verify riser height
Operates overhead crane, skid steer, forklift, and dump trucks
Able to understand and document inspection forms for cranes, forklifts, man lifts and scissor lifts
Knows how to patch ladles
Must understand and perform the process of slagging off ladles during pouring
Follow all instructions given by team leads and supervisor
