Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable
- Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way
- Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods
Nice To Haves
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Past cashier experience preferred
- Past online ordering experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup Meijer Pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection during the carside experience.
- Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs.
- Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store, and leadership.
- Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
- Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
- Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items appropriately using bagging standards.
- Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
- Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
- Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
- Turn online orders into easy, reliable, “right-on-time” pickups.
