About The Position

The Mega Jet Operator Wp is responsible for ensuring the proper setup and continuous operation of the DSI machine throughout the shift. This includes monitoring and adjusting the length, width, and thickness of products, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and adhering to plant policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The role also involves physically inspecting products for various defects, identifying and reporting any suspicious or abnormal situations to supervision, and following specific procedures for packaging and labeling.

Requirements

• Standing 100% of the workday.
• Ability to handle filets up to 10 pounds in weight.
• Work in a cold environment; Approximately 45 degrees Fahrenheit.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the DSI machine is set properly.
• Monitor and maintain the length, width, and thickness of products throughout the entire shift.
• Make all necessary adjustments to the DSI machine during the shift.
• Help maintain a neat and organized work area.
• Comply with written plant policies.
• Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with plant GMP policies.
• Follow written specifications for packaging and labeling of products.
• Physically inspect products for both natural occurring and processing defects.
• Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their immediate supervisor or plant management official.
