As the Meeting and Event Coordinator you are a champion for continuing professional education and drive the coordination, planning, implementation, promotion, and evaluation of accredited meetings and events for Cook Children’s Health Care System. You are skilled at collaborating with internal and external customers to produce innovative, quality events that support Cook Children’s Promise. You focus on positive customer relations, demonstrate sound fiscal judgment and exemplary critical-thinking and decision-making abilities to produce well-organized and cost-effective programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or other related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in meeting and event coordination.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Highly organized.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Must maintain primary residence within the state of Texas.
  • Must maintain all licenses and credentials required for the position throughout employment.

Responsibilities
