About The Position

Stepp’s Towing & Heavy Transport, a family-owned and operated business since 1960, is seeking experienced Medium Duty Tow Truck Drivers for its fleet vehicles in the greater Tampa Bay and Orlando areas. The company specializes in light, medium, and heavy-duty towing, heavy transport, and auto salvage. This position is specifically for Class A CDL Drivers with prior medium-duty towing experience, which is a mandatory requirement. Drivers are expected to provide their own tools once assigned a truck, and there is no slip seating.

Requirements

• Class A CDL License with 2 years of verifiable experience.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Past medium duty towing experience or related field.
• Must be registered in the DOT Clearinghouse.
• Must be able to pass background check/drug test.
• Must have a Clean Driving Record.
• Possess great Customer Service/Communication Skills.
• All drivers must be equipped with their own set of tools once you are assigned the truck.

Responsibilities

• Work comfortably and safely at accident scenes in traffic.
• Cooperate well with law enforcement to complete assigned jobs.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
• Operate GPS mapping effectively.
• Lift at least 50 lbs.
• Work in all weather conditions.
