About The Position

Stepp’s Towing & Heavy Transport, a family-owned and operated business since 1960, is seeking experienced Medium Duty Tow Truck Drivers for its fleet in the greater Tampa Bay and greater Orlando areas. The company specializes in light, medium, and heavy-duty towing, heavy transport, and auto salvage. This opening is specifically for Class A CDL Drivers with prior medium-duty towing experience. Drivers are expected to provide their own tools once assigned a truck, and there is no slip seating. The role involves working safely at accident scenes, cooperating with law enforcement, communicating effectively with dispatchers and customers, and operating GPS mapping. The ideal candidate must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions.

Requirements

• Class A CDL License with 2 years of verifiable experience
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Past medium duty towing experience or related field
• Must be registered in the DOT Clearinghouse
• Must be able to pass background check/drug test
• Must have a Clean Driving Record
• Possess great Customer Service/Communication Skills
• All drivers must be equipped with their own set of tools once you are assigned the truck

Responsibilities
