About The Position

Dave White Chevrolet, a Toledo Top Workplace, is looking for an experienced Medium Duty & Diesel Service Technician to join our busy Service Department. This position may involve working on all GM vehicles, with a primary focus on Chevrolet 2500, 3500, 4500, 5500, and 6500 models. You may also work on all makes and models of medium-duty and diesel trucks, as well as gasoline-powered vehicles.

Requirements

• Diesel experience required
• Valid driver's license
• Must have your own tools and toolbox
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Medium-duty or heavy-duty experience preferred
• GM experience is a plus
• ASE certifications preferred
• Strong diagnostic and electrical skills

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair GM vehicles, with an emphasis on Chevrolet 2500, 3500, 4500, 5500, and 6500 models
• Diagnose and repair medium-duty and diesel trucks of all makes and models
• Perform engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, HVAC, and emissions repairs
• Perform maintenance, fluid services, alignments, tire services, and brake repairs
• Conduct inspections and diagnostic testing
• Identify and communicate additional repair needs
• Complete accurate repair documentation
• Perform warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
• Participate in ongoing technical training
