About The Position

Under general direction, provide support, oversight and training on web based Medisked system across the agency. Update system information, liaise with vendor on open tickets and provide reports to agency programs and support departments.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • Familiarity with how to operate a computer
  • Good interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with coworkers, employees, users, vendors etc.
  • Understands the billing requirements for services in which the system is used
  • Work independently, prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow direction and follow through
  • Communicate with a diverse group of people at various levels within the organization
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Proficient with computer skills and use
  • Some experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Some familiarity with Medisked platform

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Some prior experience preferred working in programs that support individuals with Developmental Disabilities
  • Some Familiarity with OPWDD Regulations

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and training to all staff on Medisked system.
  • Responsible for managing open tickets and completion of work needs to resolution.
  • Participate in the ADAPT of the Hudson Valley Medisked Implementation Team.
  • Configure Medisked and build programs to meet organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for the Help Desk and requests for technical support.
  • Develop reports as assigned. Examples include but are not limited to reporting on expiring plans, unit report, etc.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as requested by supervisor.
  • Training and orients new users to the system.
  • Manage employee and individual related changes consistent with policy for onboarding individuals and managing changes.
  • Monitors essential elements for billing in the Medisked system.
  • Frequent reviews dashboard exception reports and follows up as appropriate.
  • Work with other departments including Human Resources and Finance to ensure collaboration of system.
  • Maintain computer interface between the Article 16 Nexgen and Medisked system.
  • Requires travel to ADAPT locations as needed.
  • Daily checks business email for agency notifications and announcements.
  • Performs other duties as required.
