Requirements

  • Good verbal communication and the ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers who only speak English.

  • Able to perform duties and responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a safe and secure delivery of medications.
  • Developing, coordinating, and performing tasks on the Growth and Wellness plan according to the elder's preferences and abilities.
  • Ensuring all assignments on your shift are completed.
  • Passing medication and assisting with self-administration of medication as required by state law.
  • Guiding and supporting the Med Techs on their shift.
  • Leading all team members on their shift as a role model of kindness, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Coaching team members to be the best they can be in collaboration with the Administrator.
  • Working in collaboration with the WD and Administrator for scheduling.
  • Supervising the storage, distribution, and discontinuation of residents' medication.
  • Maintaining continued compliance with the policies and procedures of Compass Senior Living, including those as outlined in the Quality Counts Policy and Procedure Manual.
