About The Position

Administers medication, provides direct care, and oversees daily services for seniors. United Zion is seeking an outgoing, team-oriented individual who is passionate and dedicated to caring for seniors and providing excellent service. Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar role or specialized training
  • Current Medical Technician Certification
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Knowledge of Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) regulations
  • Ability to safely use resident-assistive equipment and medical devices, including wheelchairs, scales, gait belts, mechanical lifts, blood pressure equipment, stethoscopes, thermometers, glucometers, and pulse oximeters
  • Must meet all requirements of the Older Adult Protective Services Act (OAPSA), including successful completion of required criminal background checks
  • Maintain a drug- and alcohol-free workplace status
  • Physically able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of supervisory experience preferred
