About The Position
Barton House, a Saga Senior Living community, is hiring a Part-Time Med Tech for Tuesday evenings, 2:00pm–10:00pm. Join a care team that makes sure every resident gets exactly what they need to thrive. This role involves safely administering prescribed medications, maintaining accurate records, assisting residents with daily living activities, and contributing to a safe and supportive community environment.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- 1 year of medication technician experience or 3 years of caregiving experience
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Caregiver certification
- Fingerprint clearance card
- Food handler card
- Must be able to produce a negative drug test
- May be subject to a background check
Responsibilities
- Safely give residents their prescribed medications, following state regulations and company policy
- Keep accurate medication records, watch for side effects or changes in residents’ health, and report concerns to licensed nursing staff right away
- Help residents with daily living activities and personal care
- Help keep the community safe, clean and supportive
