About The Position

Medication Technician (Med Tech) – Assisted Living $14.75–$18.31/hour | Full-Time Nights Elm Crest Senior Living Community is hiring a Medication Technician (Med Tech) to provide safe, compassionate medication support and resident care within our assisted living community. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Iowa Medication Manager Certification or Iowa Certified Medication Aide certification required
Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
Dependable, compassionate, and resident-focused approach to care

Nice To Haves

One year of healthcare, assisted living, or long-term care experience preferred
Experience administering medications in a senior living setting preferred
Willing to train the right candidate with the required certification

Responsibilities

Assist residents with medication administration and limited topical treatments under the supervision of the Assisted Living Director
Provide quality resident care and support with activities of daily living according to individualized care plans
Monitor residents and report changes in condition to appropriate clinical staff
Promote residents' physical, emotional, and mental well-being
Follow community policies, procedures, and safety standards
Ensure compliance with state regulations and medication management requirements
Support a positive, resident-centered environment that reflects the mission and values of Elm Crest
