About The Position
This position assists in the overall operation of the Unit Medication Room and distributes patients’ medications from filled prescriptions. Delivers and administers patients their ordered and prescribed medications. Within the scope of the specific credential of the team member, will support clinical activities in the health facility under the direction of the facility director and nurse management. Actively participates in all assigned training related to the Correctional Medication Aide Program. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
- Must complete the assigned training program within 30 days of hire.
