About The Position
Valley Pines Senior Living is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Medication Technicians (Med Techs) to join our growing team! Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with resident mobility
- Ability to complete accurate documentation
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or MA (Medical Assistant) certification
- 2+ years of experience in long-term care or healthcare
- Valid Driver’s License
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments per care plans and licensed provider orders
- Accurately document medication administration and treatments
- Communicate with pharmacy regarding refills, changes, and discrepancies
- Support residents with daily living activities (mobility, transfers, personal care)
- Promote resident safety, dignity, and quality of life
- Maintain clear, respectful communication with residents, families, and team members
- Assist with household tasks (meal prep, cleaning, laundry)
- Complete incident reporting and narcotic counts per policy
- Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment
- Collaborate with team members and participate in care planning
