About The Position

Priority Life Care is hiring a Medication Tech (CMT or QMA) to care for residents in a senior-care setting. Medication aides provide courteous, friendly assistance, administer medications, monitor residents for medication reactions, and follow procedures established by state and federal regulations. The role supports Priority Life Care’s mission to promote dignity, compassion, respect, affordability, and independence in senior care.

Requirements

CPR and First Aid certification.
State-required medication dispensing certification.
At least 1 year of experience.
Prior experience in long-term care, home health, or a related service industry.
Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Build connections with residents and ensure they receive appropriate care and medical assistance.
Prepare and administer medications accurately in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.
Remain familiar with residents’ medical records and medication administration records.
Document vital signs, medication administration, resident behaviors associated with medication administration, medication incidents and accidents, and facility incidents and accidents.
Prepare verbal and written reports about successful or unsuccessful medication administration.
Report issues or problems to the direct supervisor.
