Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- First Aid Certification
- Criminal background clearance
- Health screening and TB/CXR clearance
- Comfortable using healthcare equipment and basic computer systems
- Able to assist with lifting, transferring, or repositioning residents as needed
- Strong attention to detail and sensory awareness
- Ability to guide and support care staff
- Provide clear, calm direction
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Thrive in a memory care, community-based setting
- Adaptable, compassionate, dependable, and kind
Nice To Haves
- Vocational or technical training preferred
- 1+ year of Medication Technician experience (preferred)
- 2+ years in a geriatric or senior care setting (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Safely administer and oversee medications and prescribed treatments
- Monitor and assess residents’ health, safety, and overall well-being
- Communicate with families regarding medical needs or concerns
- Share observations and resident updates with the Clinical Services Director
- Support and guide care staff to ensure high-quality, consistent car
- Provide friendly, respectful service to residents, families, visitors, and teammate
- Jump in with other essential duties to help the community run smoothly
