About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Medication Partner to join our team at The Westbury Senior Living in Columbia, Missouri. This part-time role involves ensuring the proper administration of medication, maintaining medication carts, and assisting residents with activities of daily living. We are looking for individuals who embody empathy, generosity, dedication, and a commitment to continuous learning and growth. This position offers a competitive starting wage of $21.00-$25.00 per hour and a specific shift schedule of Wednesday and Thursday from 7pm to 7am.

Requirements

At least eighteen (18) years of age.
Appropriately certified per state guidelines and certification is active and in good standing.
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Professional in appearance and conduct.
Mature interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about residents.
Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.
Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
Health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening and annually thereafter.

Responsibilities

Ensure the proper administration of medication.
Maintain medication carts and proper recordkeeping.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
