About The Position
The Medication Partner position is a part-time role located at Boulevard St Peters in Saint Peters, MO. This role involves ensuring the proper administration of medication, maintaining medication carts, and keeping accurate records. The Medication Partner is also responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. The position requires creating human connection with residents, being present and reliable, fostering an inclusive and positive environment, and being engaged in personal development and training. The role emphasizes empathy, generosity, integrity, and continuous learning.
Requirements
- At least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Appropriately certified per state guidelines, with certification active and in good standing.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Professional in appearance and conduct.
- Mature interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
- Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
- Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
- Good physical health verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
- Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening and annually thereafter.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the proper administration of medication.
- Maintain medication carts and proper recordkeeping.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
