About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Medication Partner to join our team at Hudson Grande Senior Living in Hudson, Ohio. This full-time position offers a starting wage of $22.00 per hour. We are looking for individuals who embody empathy, generosity, dedication, and a commitment to continuous learning. As a Medication Partner, you will be responsible for the proper administration of medication, maintaining medication carts, and accurate recordkeeping. You will also proactively assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care. Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Appropriately certified per state guidelines, with certification active and in good standing.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional appearance and conduct.
  • Mature interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
  • Criminally cleared.
  • Good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
  • Health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
  • Test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening and annually thereafter.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the proper administration of medication.
  • Maintain medication carts and proper recordkeeping.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
  • Create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
