Medication Partner 7am-7pm $17.50-23.25 (Part Time)
About The Position
The Medication Partner role is a part-time position at Township, located in Battlefield, MO. This role requires an "Advocate of Empathy" to create human connection with residents, a "Generous Gift Giver" to be present and reliable, someone who is "đź’Ż" to create an inclusive and positive environment, and an "Engaged Egghead" to be curious and engaged in personal development. Key responsibilities include ensuring the proper administration of medication, maintaining medication carts and recordkeeping, and proactively assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
Requirements
- At least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Appropriately certified per state guidelines and certification is active and in good standing.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
- Professional in appearance and conduct.
- Mature interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers.
- Able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Computer skills to be able to print documents and enter information about residents.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
- Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
- Health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
- Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening and annually thereafter.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the proper administration of medication.
- Maintain medication carts and proper recordkeeping.
- Proactively assist residents with activities of daily living (ADL) bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
