About The Position

Willamette Family is a longstanding substance use treatment and behavioral healthcare provider accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA). The Medication Monitor supports safe, high-quality client care by ensuring medication monitoring practices are completed accurately, consistently, and in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for monitoring client self-administration of medications, maintaining accurate medication inventory and documentation, and coordinating the timely ordering and availability of prescribed medications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and committed to medication safety, compliance, and quality care. Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy are essential. Prior experience working with medications and following established medication-management procedures is strongly preferred. Applicants must have weekend availability. This position is located in our Women's Residential facility.

Requirements

  • H.S. Completion or equivalent
  • Relevant experience in one of the following: handling medications, Pharmacy services, CNA, EMT, or Medical Assisting.
  • Proficient with technology
  • Current CPR certification or ability to quickly certify through the agency.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Must be located in the Eugene, OR area or be willing to commute.
  • Background Check Approval from the Department of Human Services (Initiated post-offer)
  • Pre-employment Drug Screening (including Cannabis/THC) (Initiated post-offer)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with medications and following established medication-management procedures is strongly preferred.
