About The Position
Join Southcoast Health, a not-for-profit, charitable, health system with multiple hospitals, clinics and facilities throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We are searching for a talented Medication History Tech to work at Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. This role is primarily evening shift, 3:30pm - 12:00am, sometimes 11:00am - 7:30pm with weekend and holiday rotation. Requirements
- High School graduate or the equivalent is required.
- Massachusetts state registration as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
- One year of related work experience is required.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT or ExCPT) is required.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Nice To Haves
- Additional clinical course work or training is preferred.
- three years of related work experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of a Pharmacist, the Medication History Tech performs pharmacy-related functions, in compliance with department policies and procedures that provide optimal pharmaceutical care.
